Viðeyjarstofa offers unique facilities for meetings and conferences which suit hard-working groups. We offer first-class catering and we provide all the main equipment for your event.

A whole day package consists of:

• Coffee, tea and water throughout the day
• Main equipment including built-in sound system and projector
• VCR / DVD / P3, table, flipchart, wireless networks, etc.

Those groups that also want to enjoy the beautiful nature in Viðey Island can book a guided tour of the island which is a good start on a good day or evening.

In conn­ection to the ferry’s schedule, a coffee-house and restaurant are run in Viðeyjarstofa all year round. The house is also well suited for meet­ings, con­f­erences, birt­hday parties, holi­day selebrati­ons, wedd­ing parties and functi­ons of all sorts. The upper floor is a spacious hall, com­forta­ble for 130 guests. The first floor is divi­ded into several smaller rooms, suita­ble for 10 to 25 guests each.

Gallery Restaurant – Hótel Holt has run the restaurant operation on Viðey island since April 2010. The restaurant has been the bench­mark for Icelandic culin­ary excellence since it was opened in 1965. We assure you of quality, professi­ona­lism and great customer service.

In sum­mer time Viðeyjarstofa is open from 11:30 to 18:00 every day. Additionally, the open­ing hours are ext­ended in conn­ection to events. The menu inclu­des fresh Icelandic ingredients, such as mus­sels, cured salmon, waff­les and more.

In win­ter time Viðeyjarstofa is open from 13:30 to 16:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. Additionally, the open­ing hours are ext­ended in conn­ection to concerts and other events. The menu inclu­des cof­fee, hot chocolate and delicious pastries.
